Materialkilim with verneh technique and symmetrical knot on a wool structure

Cape (joleh asb), made with mixed techniques, of notable beauty. On a structure made with the flat weave kilim technique, decorations in natural colors alternately made with the verneh technique and knotted are highlighted in relief. Warm and fascinating are the colors associated with an iconographic representation with highly symbolic contents which seem to recall the alibelinde motif dear to the Anatolian tradition. We note insertions of turquoise glass paste pearls which take on superstitious and propitiatory purposes. The state of conservation is excellent.
