Rare and iconic cushion obtained from a silk embroidered fragment of an ancient chirpy made by Tekke populations. The chirpy, despite its appearance as a coat, was a sort of female cloak/headdress worn with the apical part placed over the head and shoulders during festive days or on the occasion of particular ceremonies. Excellent state of conservation.
